Support Our Growth
Dear Friends,
On behalf of the entire Stanley I. Chera SAM School community, thank you for your support and interest in our mission.
Founded in 2010 by Rabbi Elie Abadie and a group of visionary parents, SAM began as a preschool committed to academic excellence and Torah values, rooted in our rich Sephardic tradition. What started with just a few dozen students has grown into a thriving early childhood program in our very own building on East 74th Street, with over 150 children ages two through five.
To meet the demand of our growing community, we proudly opened our elementary and middle school divisions in a stunning facility on East 96th Street. In just two years, enrollment has doubled twice—proof that families are seeking something deeper, more meaningful, and more personalized for their children.
Our success is powered by bold ideas, passionate educators, and families who believe in what we're building. Your generosity and support enable us to continue offering an education that is both rigorous and joyful, rooted in tradition and forward-thinking in practice. From our state-of-the-art STEM lab and experiential Judaic studies to our arts program and NYC-based learning adventures, SAM is shaping the future of Jewish education.
Thank you for being part of this exciting journey.
Warmly,
Michelle Dayan, Executive Director
