Grandparents shape who
children become.
דור לדור
The stories you tell. The traditions you carry. The way you show up — at the school play, the Pesach seder, Friday morning in the sukkah. You are not background. You are the thread.
DOR L'DOR — THE SAM SCHOOL GRANDPARENT SOCIETY
Dor L'Dor means from generation to generation. That is exactly what this is about.
At the SAM School, we believe that if it's not in the hand, it's not in the mind. Children don't remember lessons. They remember experiences — baking challah, dancing on Simchat Torah, hearing you sing a niggun they'll carry for the rest of their lives.
Dor L'Dor is our grandparent community. All grandparents belong.
There are many ways to be part of Dor L'Dor. Here is how it works.
FREE & AUTOMATIC (No Action Needed)
Every SAM grandparent is automatically part of the Dor L'Dor Grandparent Community — no sign-up required, no gift necessary. Just show up, stay connected, and be part of what makes this school special.
As a community member, you are invited to our biannual Grandparent Summit and will receive our Dor L'Dor newsletter twice a year.

GIVING CIRCLE
The Dor L'Dor
Giving Circle
For grandparents who want to do more, the Dor L'Dor Giving Circle is your opportunity to become an active partner in funding the immersive Jewish experiences that make Judaism feel alive for your grandchildren.
Through simple monthly giving, your gift joins with others to support the hands-on learning, holiday celebrations, and meaningful moments that children carry with them for life.
All Giving Circle members receive their name on our Dor L'Dor Honor Scroll, a customized photo gift featuring their grandchild, and recognition at our biannual Grandparent Summit.
