Our journey began over 10 centuries ago during the illustrious golden age of Spain, where our ancestors achieved high positions in society while living committed Jewish lives. Inspired by this legacy, our founder Rabbi Elie Abadie, M.D. started The SAM School in 2010 with a group of dedicated parents and board members. The SAM preschool opened in September 2010, dedicated to educating young children in Torah and general studies in a wholesome, nurturing environment. With a child-centered educational approach and a reputation for warmth and excellence, SAM rapidly and organically grew to serve more than 100 students annually. In 2017 we expanded to include an elementary program, further enabling us to implement our mission and vision as we prepare the next generation of Jewish scholars, leaders and professionals.
